MEET ALICE
About me...
Hi, my name is Alice and I am a hair and makeup artist with a passion for helping to make people look good and feel good about themselves! Prior to pursuing my passion for hair and beauty, I had a seven-year career as a teacher of A ‘Level Dance and Physical Education during which time I achieved my Level 1 and 2 Hairdressing qualifications whilst on maternity leave with my two daughters. After leaving teaching in August 2014, within a few months of training, I achieved my Level 3 Hairdressing qualification along with several beauty qualifications and a certificate in makeup artistry. Whilst I enjoyed teaching, l always knew hair and makeup is ultimately what I wanted to do so leaving this career for what I would now call my dream job is one that I will never regret!

As a Wedding hair and makeup specialist, I create bespoke hair and makeup for brides and their bridal parties looking for a relaxed and personal service for one of the most important days of their lives! Whatever your style, I will ensure your hair and makeup combines the most current looks that work seamlessly with everything from your colour scheme and accessories through to that all-important dress!
Hair & Makeup Artist - Local, National & International
I am available for fashion, beauty and corporate shoots, Weddings, special events and proms. I am happy to travel locally, nationally and internationally.
Hair & Makeup Team
As well as working independently, I have a team of hair and makeup artists all over the North East who I can arrange to work with me whether it's for your bridal party or guests who are staying at the venue or elsewhere! All artists have been checked and vetted to ensure they are fully qualified, insured and experienced. No matter how many of your bridal party and/or guests require hair and makeup services, with a hair and makeup team, you can get ready without hassle or stress!
Family friendly salon
As a mother of two girls, I understand how difficult it can be to arrange hair and beauty appointments that fit in with your family life and work schedule. I am in full support of busy parents and regularly have clients who come with their children, friends and/or family to have a group session making that trip to the salon a pleasant experience.
